Anastasiya Petryk from Ukraine met the press shortly after winning the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She was accompanied at the conference by the Ukrainian Head of Delegation, along with AVRO Press Officer Francois Engelhart. For much of the conference her elder sister Victoria joined her on stage.

Moldova has decided who will represent them at the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The lucky winner is Denis Midoni with the song Toate Vor Fi, meaning All Will Be, which accumulated the maximum number of points in the national selection organised by the Moldovan broadcaster TRM.
