Today the last individual rehearsals of the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest contestants were held in the Armenian capital of Yerevan - it was the artists from FYR Macedonia, The Netherlands, Belarus, Sweden, Georgia and Belgium to rehearse.

Rachel, the contestant for The Netherlands, continues the row of highly energetic first rehearsals. She brings four dancers to the stage and spends a large part of the time on the prop set up on the stage in Armenia.

Just as the Head of Delegations meeting started in Yerevan, it was announced the Dutch broadcaster AVRO has won the bid to host the next edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Today, the Netherlands had to pick their entry for the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. And so they did and what a victory it was! Now you can also see a video of it!

Today, all the previous winners of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest gave a press conference in the Minsk Arena, the place where this year's contest will be broadcast.

During the rehearsal weeks all the contestants have their chance to rehearse on stage. But what do the young stars do between rehearsals? Well, we have the answer you've been looking for!

With a short break between, it was the Netherlands and Serbia (after the break) to rehearse for the second time in the Minsk Arena. 

The contestants from the Netherlands, the winning country last year, were up next and their Anna and Senna had a lot of fun on the stage. Even the audience was really enthusiastic in the arena and cheered for the young Dutch stars.

Late on Monday evening, the opening party of this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest was held. It was all fun and games for all delegations! And we saw many surprises throughout the evening.

This weekend, the country which won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest last year, the Netherlands, picked their entry for this year's edition. It's Senna Sitalsing and Anna Lagerweij!

Ralf Mackenbach, the winner of the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest was so very happy at his press conference that it looked like when he was on the stage here in Kyiv, Ukraine!

Today the last participants of the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest finished their second rehearsals. All the young stars from thirteen countries have now had a chance to check out the stage and give a final touch to their act.

The last second rehearsal of the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest here in Kyiv, Ukraine, was the one from the representative of The Netherlands, Ralf Mackenbach. 

Ralf Mackenbach gave quite a different performance today from everyone else. Namely, he's the only kid this year who tap-dances! He had his first rehearsal today in Kyiv. 

Ralf Mackenbach won last night's Dutch national selection for the seventh Junior Eurovision Song Contest with his song Click Clack.
