Amanda Bashmakova was the second contestant to rehearse today and like yesterday, she kept it minimalistic, just showing her great vocals. 

Amanda Bashmakova representing Latvia was the first participant up today on the stage in Yerevan. She had a magnificent first try with great vocals and a minimalist setup.

Amanda Bashmakova is the young star that will represent Latvia this year at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Her entry is called Moondog and it has been written in co-operation with some of the best musicians in Latvia.

Today, at the traditional Heads of Delegations meeting, the running order draw for this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest was held. So, now we know who will perform at which place!

Just before the weekend, we're happy to bring you some good news! After Bulgarian broadcaster BNT decided to join the contest, also Latvia (LTV) has decided to return to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2011.

Today, the last individual rehearsals started in the Minsk Arena for the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. It was the contestants from Latvia to start the day.

The rehearsals continued by uptempo entries - it was time for the Latvian song Viva La Dance by their young star Sarlote and the group called the Sea Stones.

Late on Monday evening, the opening party of this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest was held. It was all fun and games for all delegations! And we saw many surprises throughout the evening.

One school day started very unusually in a secondary school in Latvia. The classroom was full of journalists, TV camera men and photographers. The Latvian broadcaster, LTV, invited children and media people to the press conference dedicated to the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Minsk.

Today, representatives of all participating countries are in Minsk, the host city of the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, to be informed about all the excitement that is coming up.
