Voters and juries from 13 countries all over Europe have made their decision: The Netherlands won the 7th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Ukraine! Congratulations!!

Today the last participants of the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest finished their second rehearsals. All the young stars from thirteen countries have now had a chance to check out the stage and give a final touch to their act.

"Gol-gol!" or "Goal, goal!" was the hit slogan today at the second Armenian rehearsal today from their song Barcelona. Luara Hayrapetyan was the one cheering for her favourite football club in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Last night the grand Opening Party of the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest was held at the Ukrainian House in Kyiv. All the delegations and organisers were present and had a lot of fun!

Luara Hayrapetyan from Armenia had her first rehearsal today in Kyiv. She amazed everyone with a wonderful performance of Barcelona, especially as it was her first time taking the stage!

Saturday brought another new bright star to the heaven of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year. Armenia selected Luara Hairapetian to represent the country in Kyiv with the song Barcelona!

Our young stars from Romania, Armenia and Belarus kicked off today's second rehearsals marathon!

Today the first half of the participants of the 2008 Junior Eurovision Song Contest started their rehearsals!

Sirusho, the Armenian singer who represented her country at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade, will go to Cyprus in November to support their Junior Eurovision Song Contest participant Monika Manucharova.

Monika has been chosen to represent Armenia at the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Cyprus. She will sing the song Im Ergi Hnchyune.
