Katya Rybova Song Title: Malenky Prints Katya Ryabova was born Moscow on August, 4, 1997 in the small town of Schelkovo not far from. Now she lives together with her parents and a sister in the Yubileiny town, Moscow region. She sings from her babyhood. Katya asked parents to send her to musical school. Now she studies in the sixth class of general gymnasium, and she is also engaged in a vaudeville in children's theater of song the "SvetAfor" , and she gets lesson choreography in the studio of classic ballet "Fairy-tale". Katya Ryabova is a winner of the Governor's award, owner of a diploma of the second world Delphic games for musicianship and artistry. She is a laureate of international festival "A Rose of wings 2007", and also a laureate of the competition of patriotic songs «What Motherland is to begin with», at which she performs the famous song "Arlekino". But when she steps on stage these worries are carried away at once. Katya is sure that the reaction of the hall helps her to cope with worries.

Mariam Bokeria is 11 years old. Music is everything for her. Mariam has been singing from her childhood, when she was 4 years old. She likes to dance and to sing, to read books and classical music and to spend time with her friends. Beside her age Mariam has taken part in many musical contests. Mariam Gurgenidze is 11 years old. She started speaking and singing at the same time. Mariam likes to chat on phone, play with friends and computers. Her favorite composers are Sebastian Bach and Tchaikovsky. Mariam writes poems. She takes part in different song contests often, but Eurovision is most important for her. Liza Kenia is 11 years old. Liza writes poems. Her mother is a famous singer and Liza has been singing from her childhood. She appeared on the stage with her mother when she was a little girl. Liza is glad that their song is classic style and modern the same time. She likes classic music, books of Astrid Lindgren and fairytales. Elene Makashvili is 12 years old. She was participating in several song competitions. Her much loved composer is Johann Sebastian Bach, Singer - Paul McCartney and song, Yesterday. Elene likes classic style songs and modern style besides. She has a lot of friends. Lizi Ramishvili is 12 years old. She has been playing on Cello from 6 years old. She likes music, swimming, and dancing, to play football and to spend time with friends. Every year she plays with Symphony orchestra named after Evgeni Mikeladze. Her favorite musicians are: Johann Sebastian Bach, Michael Jackson and Brian Adams. Ana Tkeshelashvili is14 years old Ballerina. She is studding in choreography school of Vakhtang Chabukiani . Her profession needs to work hard; she does not have time for pleasure and joy. Ana likes to read books now she is reading Alex Bowie. Her favorite composers are Mozart and Schubert.

Rafaella Costa Song title: Thalassa, Helios, Aeras, Fotia Rafaella Costa is the singer and the lyricist of the Cyprus entry Thalassa, Helios, Aeras, Fotia (Sea, Sun, Wind, Fire). The songs composer is her friend Martha Paradisioti. The pair met through their school where Rafaella sings in the choir and Martha plays the piano in the orchestra. Together they came up with this mellow rock song in just two days. Rafaella Costa is 15 years old and lives in Limassol, the second biggest city of Cyprus. She has only been singing for two years and it is something she really enjoys. Rafaella is in her first year of High School. She enjoys music, playing tennis, using her computer and spending time with her friends. Rafaella would like to pursue music in the future and if also become a lawyer. Martha Paradisioti is 14 years old and also lives in Limassol. She has been playing the piano for eight years and plays keyboards in the song. In her spare time, Martha enjoys playing her computer and watching television. Rafaella and Martha have taken part in various musical competitions with their school. They gained the first place in a regional contest for their traditional Greek-Cypriot rempetiko song. It was Rafaellas idea to enter a song for Cyprus in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest as it was always a dream of hers to take part. Thalassa, Helios, Aeras, Fotia was selected out of 8 songs by a combination of a jury and a public vote. Rafaellas inspiration for the lyrics came from stories about the past which she heard from her parents and grand-parents. The song looks at how the world has changed and compares olden times and the present day. Performing along side Rafaella and Martha is Panayiotis Stylianidis on drums, Constantinos Spirou on guitar and dancers is Elena Patsali and Christiana Hadjipiera. The entire group is really excited to be taking part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009 and are looking forward to making new friends from all over Europe.
