The winners of the Russian national selection for the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Liza Drozd and Sasha Lazin live in Krasnoyarsk. Liza is eleven and Sasha is going to celebrate his 11th birthday in October. They go to the 5th grade, and also study at the School of Arts for children. Since the age of five they have been taking music and vocal lessons. Before the duo was founded, they performed successfully as solo artists. Sasha and Liza were performing a lot in different concerts lately. This summer, together with the young members of a musical centre, they participated in the International Festival of Children's Theaters Create Your Dream! in Germany. The duo was awarded the first prizes at the International Children's and Youth Creativity contest and at the Russian Popular Music Television contest for children. Liza and Sasha are very famous in Krasnoyarsk. Liza used to be a TV-host in a popular TV program Home Alone and together with Sasha they were hosting the music program Magic Microphone. Sasha has been performing for three years on stages of Krasnoyarsk theatres. Among his biggest roles was also Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's Little Prince. The children learn well at school. Liza is among the best pupils in her class, for many times she participated and won the municipal competitions in mathematics and Russian language. Sasha has been training for two years in the Light Athletics sports school. His hobbies are swimming, dancing, computers and English language.

Powered by junioreurovision.tv Josefine Ridell, 13 years old from Malmö, will compete with her Allt Jag Vill Ha (In English - Reaching For The Stars) in Minsk on the 20th of November in the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Lyrics and music of Allt Jag Vill Ha were written by Joseph Ridell, together with Arash, Robert Uhlmann, Thomas G:son and John Bejerholm. "Josefine is an accomplished artist, despite her young age. And together with Arash and Thomas G:son, she has created an exciting and a great contribution, which I think could have great success in Europe," said Christer Björkman, Head of the Swedish delegation at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Josefine Ridell comes from Oxievångskolan, located in Oxie, just outside Malmö in the Southernmost region of Sweden. She has been singing as long as she can remember and started playing keyboards when she was eight years old. For nearly a year, she has been writing her own music. "It will be so incredibly fun to be part of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest! And it is an honour to represent Sweden. Arash and the guys are so wonderful and so professional. We have really super fun in the studio!" the young singer says. When reflecting on the upcoming event, Josefine states that it is obviously a competition where she will represent Sweden and will really do her best, but first of all she's looking forward to meeting young artists from all over Europe. Yuliya Gurska is a very talented young singer from Ukraine. Despite being so young - 15 - she's already achieved a lot in the world of music. Now she takes on another quest - representing her country at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest! Yuliya Gurska is a young singer from Vinnitsa -- the heart of Podolskiy Region of Ukraine. She was born on the 28th of April 28 in 1995. Yuliya's vocal talent manifested itself when she was 6 years old. When she was 7, her mother took her to a music school. And since the age of 9, she has been trained in a pop and jazz vocal studio. As a soloist, under the guidance of her teacher Marina Maltseva, Yuliya has won numerous Ukrainian and international pop music contests. She has no particular cult-figure, but she has favorite songs in a variety of styles and directions of music. Yuliya's repertoire includes performances taken from musicals, cover-versions of the world hits, art songs in Russian, Ukrainian, English and German. Her hobbies include music, reading, swimming, origami. She likes animals, and takes great pleasure to take care of her own pets -- Martha, the poodle, and Alevtina, the rat.
