The Opening Party of the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest was held in the Mercure Hotel in Amsterdm, The Netherlands.

The fifth Junior Eurovision Song Contest was held in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

The third Junior Eurovision Song Contest was held in Hasselt, Belgium.

Rachel, the young Dutch star that represented the country in 2011, will also take part in the contest this year but by being one of the interval acts.
