Alexa has a real passion for music and dance. She started with contemporary and jazz dancing at only 5 years old and later took up up ballet and tap dancing. In 2012 she appeared in an amateur production of Oliver! alongside her brother, Aidan, another budding singer and actor. The experience gave her a real taste of performing on stage. She has performed in the Sydney Schools Spectacular and other events supporting children's charities.

In 2014, when Alexa was only ten years old, she captured Australia’s attention when she won The Voice Kids Australia, with Delta Goodrem as her mentor. Without having any formal vocal training she sang live in front of millions of viewers. She is now signed to Universal Music Australia and she will perform her new single, We Are for the first time at Junior Eurovision in 2016.

Outside of performing, Alexa also loves sport and still finds time to attend the young Surf Life Savers, known as ‘nippers’ at her local surf club on the Gold Coast which she has attended over the past 7 years. Recently Alexa has also started playing netball. She is excited to represent Australia and is looking forward to meeting the other Junior Eurovision participants and performing on the global stage.
