Geneva -

One month on from the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we can reveal the full split results of the voting.

As with last year, it was decided to hold back the split results until at least one month after the show to allow the three trophy winners to enjoy their results. Now, exactly one later, we are pleased to reveal them! For a detailed explanation of how the votes were counted, please see the end of this article.

The split results revealed

Malta was both the jury and public's favourite song in this year's competition, with Destiny winning both sets of votes! MIKA, who took second place on the combined scores, was also runner up with both the public and juries - meaning that everyone agree on the top two! Slovenia, who took home third place, were voted third by the public and finished fourth on the jury scoring - where Belarus was placed #3.

Voting at Junior Eurovision 2015

The voting in this year's contest was conducted using a 50-50 jury and televoting system. Five jurors in each country cast their votes after watching the Friday evening 'Jury Final' show, awarding points in 'Eurovision Style' from 1 to 8, 10, and 12. The scores of each jury member were then added together to create a final set of 'Jury points' in each country. For a list of the jurors in each country, please click: here.

Televoters were allowed to cast up to 20 votes for their favourite song or songs during the 15 minute voting window in the live show. After this closed, televoting partners in participating countries had just under 20 minutes to submit their votes to televoting co-ordinators Sound of Data. The country receiving the most televotes in a country received 12 points, second highest 10 points, third highest 8 points and so on until 1 point. This gave a final set of 'Televoting points' in each country.

These two sets of points were then added together to create the final points awarded by each country during the live show. In the event of a tie in one country, the song that had received the highest number of points from the televoting in that country took precedence. If these were tied, then the song which scored more points from that country's jury received the higher points.

The votes were independently verified by Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
