Twelve year old Alexa Curtis will represent Australia in the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song We Are. Alexa's entry for Junior Eurovision was written by an award-winning international team. 2016 marks the second time that the country has participated in Junior Eurovision.

Alexa has a passion for music and dance and started performing when she was only five years old. In 2014 she captured Australia’s attention when she won The Voice Kids Australia, with Delta Goodrem as her mentor. She is now signed to Universal Music Australia and she will perform her new single, We Are for the first time at Junior Eurovision in 2016. Watch a behind the scenes film of the recording of her video below:

Outside of performing, Alexa also loves sport and still finds time to attend the young Surf Life Savers, known as ‘nippers’ at her local surf club on the Gold Coast which she has attended over the past 7 years. Recently Alexa has also started playing netball. She is excited to represent Australia and is looking forward to meeting the other Junior Eurovision participants and performing on the global stage.
