Georgian director Zaza Orashvili and his crew will shoot 16 videos in different regions of Georgia to introduce the country, its people and wide cultural diversity to the European audience. "The specific aim of these postcards is to show the viewer at home the beauty and the treasures of Georgia," Zaza said.
The postcards depict a Georgian person travelling to a destination where they meet another character, collecting a Georgian artefact to give to the participating contestants coming to celebrate music from all over Europe.
The first phase of the production has been completed successfully in the Imereti and Adjara regions of Georgia. The crew are now working in Svaneti. Famous Georgians with other citizens will participate in the videos which will also feature Mariam Mamadashvili the winner of Junior Eurovision 2016.
