Ralf and his team are on their way back to the Netherlands, where an enormous crowd is expected to welcome him at the airport. Last night's winners already departed Kyiv as true stars, as the Dutch delegation arranged a comfortable drive to the airport. As true stars, they departed in a white limousine! Ralf and their dancers were over the moon!

Dutch commentator Sipke-Jan Bousema organised a small farewell party in the lobby of the delegation's hotel, to thank all who worked so hard for this Junior Eurovision Song Contest victory. Earlier, he told JuniorEurovision.tv: "After 34 years, we finally won a Eurovision event! I'm so proud of everyone who put so much work into this."

Update: Hundreds of fans were waiting for Ralf in Amsterdam, where he arrived around 20:00 local time. Check out the video below (courtesy of RTL Nieuws):

The JuniorEurovision.tv team is also heading back home. Thank you for being with us again and see you next year in Minsk, Belarus, for the 8th Junior Eurovision Song Contest, or in Oslo, Norway, for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest!
