Hosts for Junior 2009 chosen!
The organising broadcaster of this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest, NTU, began their search for the hosts for the show in August. In the end they had 74 candidates to choose from!
The lucky ones chosen are Ani Lorak (who also took part in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 with her song Shady Lady and achieved the second place) and Timur Miroshnichenko. Dmytro Borodin was chosen to be the Green Room reporter. You can read about Ani Lorak in her blog post, about Timur in his post and Dmytro in his post.
Timur has been the Ukrainian commentator for all the Eurovision Family of Events - the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, the Eurovision Song Contest and the Eurovision Dance Contest.
Dmytro is definitely the youngest host this year, having taken part in the Ukrainian national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest the last three years!
