Marissa, who will represent the Netherlands at the 2008 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with 1 Dag, had an accident in traffic!

While on the way home from singing class, Marissa and Danita were hit by a car last night. Marissa's left leg is now seriously bruised. "If I would have broken my leg, I would have had to go to Cyprus in a wheelchair," she said to a newspaper.

Fortunately, Marissa will still be able to represent the Netherlands in Lemesos on the 22nd of November.

The JuniorEurovision.tv team wishes Marissa and her sister all the best and we hope for a speedy recovery from the accident.
