About Mimmi Sandén

Mimmi Sandén was born on Christmas Day in 1995. She lives in Huddinge, Sweden, and attends the eight grade in the well-renowned Adolf Fredrik’s music school in Stockholm.

Mimmi started to perform at the age of six, singing with Carola. She has also become known to the Swedish audience through several seasons of the TV series “Mimmi & Mojje”, a children’s show airing on TV4. In 2006, Mimmi backed up her sister Molly in Junior Eurovision Song Contest, where Sweden finished third. Her other sister, Frida, has also represented Sweden in the Contest (2007).

Mimmi’s real break-through came in 2007 when she participated in Talang 2007 (Sweden’s Got Talent). Her voice and charisma charmed the Swedish viewers and she made it to the final where she ended up in an honourable second place.

Since she has performed in several music and TV shows as well as being part of the music play Hujedamej Va Många Sånger– an Astrid Lindgren tribute by Riksteatern, Sweden’s leading nationwide theatre.

Mimmi describes herself as a happy and goal-oriented girl. She is not afraid to choose her own path and is persistent in doing so. Among her passions in life, singing is of course number one, but shoes also make her happy, as well as getting cosy with friends and eating candy.
