Daneliya Tuleshova

Daneliya Tuleshova was born in 2006 in Astana, Kazakhstan and is currently a sixth grader at Lyceum 56 where she focuses on mathematics. 

Daneliya grew up as an active kid, but at the age of four, she suffered an injury that prevented her from engaging in extracurricular activities and sports until she was six years old. Once able to participate again, Daneliya began practicing ballroom dancing, took part in championships, and won prizes. She also took contemporary dance classes in Almaty and simultaneously attended acting and singing classes. 

At the age of eight, she was noticed by the organizers of the nationwide singing competition Ayaglagan Astana. This was a selection round for the famous television project Children's New Wave, based in Russia and produced by famous Russian composer Igor Krutoy. In 2015, Daneliya won the Ayaglagan Astana competition and reached the finals of the Children's New Wave, where she won the Audience Award.

After Daneliya’s first success as a performer, her parents decided that she should take vocal training, and Daneliya started taking classes with a personal singing coach. She continued to take dance classes and participate in dance battles. In January 2017, Danelia took part in the international singing competition Hopes of Europe, where she won the grand prize. Daneliya then auditioned for The Voice Kids in Ukraine and made her first appearance on the broadcast show in June 2017. She passed all the stages and became the first non-Ukrainian to win the competition.
